This is a video of an indecently dressed girl who got more than she had bargained for, as a crowd of people disenchanted with her provocative outfit vented out their fury against her.

But if I may ask: what really is indecent dressing?  Simply put, it is the deliberate exposure of one’s body to the public, which is contrary to the acceptable norms and values of the society. But sad enough, most ladies have gone haywire all in the name of the dressing and being fashionable. Nigeria ladies nowadays dress half naked to occasions in different styles of dressing now in vogue – low waist, hot bosom, sagging, mini skirt, bumper short, arm-less e.t.c.

Indecent dressing is common among celebrities, particularly among artistes. This set of people, while on stage will want to look unique and in the process turned themselves into lunatics. In a bid to stem this growing trend, the CBS TV recently warned that in the forthcoming Grammy awards, stars must ensure that "buttocks and breasts are adequately covered". CBS further admonishes that sheer dresses should be avoided, as should exposure of the "bare fleshy under curves of the buttock" or the "under curvature of the breasts".
Also worried by the negative impacts of indecent dressing as most ladies have been sexually abused because of their mode of dressingthe management of Nigeria’s University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo state has warned all female students of the institution against any form of indecent dressing in the name of fashion. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Osayuki Osodin, gave this warning on Friday during the 2012/2013 Matriculation ceremony of the institution.
Indecent dressing: A social malady?
Prof. Oshodin said the disgusting trend has become worrisome, noting that it has been identified to be one of the major factors responsible for cases of sexual harassments suffered by some female students.
The VC advised all female students to always appear responsible by dressing modestly and appropriately to every gathering. He also warned that the University would not tolerate any form of examination malpractice and other misconduct, adding that the institution was ready to apply appropriate sanctions against offenders.
Below are some of the provocative indecent dressings of artistes:
